We are looking for an experienced bike mechanic to help us build bikes for vulnerable Austin communities, and to help us fulfill the mission of our organization. We strongly value the lived experience and local knowledge and will prioritize those connected to communities of color, social service organizations and community centers. Candidates with fundraising, project management, event planning and/or volunteer recruitment and retention are strongly encouraged to apply via this questionnaire. The board seeks 4+individuals with diverse skills and experiences. Yellow Bike seeks dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join its board of directors. This event is open to BIPOC women and nonbinary individuals. While the series is beginner-friendly, skills build with each ride getting progressively more advanced, so we advise beginners to plan to attend all sessions if possible.
